Vessels | 2020
Vessels (2020) is an experimental short film. It’s an exploration of the possibilities of cinematic form and sound. Through four frames, it portrays four women artists: a dancer, a sculptor, a painter, and a cellist. Through the act of creation, these artists attempt to share their struggles and lived experiences. The voices of prominent women artists accompany the images, affirming what unfolds on screen, reflecting shared struggles that have long connected women artists in Iran across generations.
